Position Summary
As a Senior Consultant within our Sage Intacct Practice, you will work directly with clients to implement new systems, add-on modules, and provide ongoing support. You will ensure that all engagements stay within scope, on budget, and are executed with excellence. This role goes beyond client service—you’ll be a mentor to junior consultants, a process champion, and a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage Sage Intacct implementations and module add-ons with minimal oversight.
• Provide timely client support—resolving or escalating support cases within 24 hours.
• Maintain at least 70% billable utilization by efficiently managing time and client expectations.
• Offer strategic insights to clients regarding new functionality, helping them plan for the future.
• Document activities clearly and thoroughly on timecards to avoid billing disputes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members through leveling chats, group discussions, and project support.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other consultants to ensure accurate project plans and timely task completion.
• Identify out-of-scope items, assist with change order creation, and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain advanced certification in key Sage Intacct modules including:
- Contracts
- Contract Revenue Management (CRE)
- Subscription Billing & Management (SDMO, SIBP)
- Global Consolidations
- Dynamic Allocations
- Inventory
- Collections
Qualifications
Required
• 5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience, including project implementation and support
• Advanced certification in at least 2 Sage Intacct modules listed above
• Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements independently
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience mentoring or leading teams in a consulting environment
Preferred
• Experience in mid-sized to enterprise-level consulting firms
• Project management certification or experience
• Prior experience with publisher escalation processes
